The patient arrived to the ICU and was assessed by the nurse. The assessments are shown here. The writing was barely legible so I have transcribed them for easy reading.

At 1:20am, the patient’s GCS suddenly worsened to 9. The ED physician was notified and a stat CT scan was ordered. The results showed subdural and subarachnoid bleeding. The radiologist interpretation is shown below for free email subscribers.

After reviewing the CT scan, the general surgeon came to the ICU to re-evaluate the patient. He ordered repeat dosing of vitamin K and 4 units of FFP. Mannitol was also ordered.

He called the neurosurgeon back, who accepted the patient for transfer.

The surgeon called a helicopter for transport. He wrote the following discharge summary.

The helicopter arrived and picked up the patient.

The 5-page report from the helicopter transportation is available as a free download below.
